ROCK Gold Earns Berth to 2013 PGF National Championship

ROCK Gold delivered a perfect 4-0 record at the Legendary Softball PGF National Qualifier this past weekend in Virginia Beach, Va.

Junior pitcher Chelsea Eckert was perfect in the circle with a 4-0 record and a 0.0 ERA.

The ROCK defeated the Virginia Legends, Va. Galaxy and the Va. Baseliners, leading up to the championship game in the double elimination tournament. Saving the best for last, the ROCK delivered an 11-0 / 4 inning shutout in a rematch against the Baseliners to win the tournament and a berth to the Premier Girls Fastpitch National Championship in Huntington Beach, Ca. this summer.

This is the second consecutive PGF National berth for the ROCK Gold program. Next up for the ROCK Gold is the Pennsbury Invitational this coming weekend.
